Types Of Editing Transitions

1. Fade: A gradual transition where the video either fades to black or fades in from black, creating a soft, smooth change.

2. Cut: A straightforward and instantaneous transition from one shot to the next, commonly used in editing to maintain flow.

3. Bleach: A transition effect that appears as though the colors are drained or "bleached" out of the scene, often used to create a vintage or dramatic effect.

4. Wipe: A transition where one shot replaces another by moving across the screen in a specific pattern, such as a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal wipe.

5. Morphing: A smooth transformation where one image or object gradually changes into another, often used for creative effects.

6. Iris: A circular transition that either opens or closes to reveal or hide the scene, reminiscent of the opening or closing of a camera’s iris.

7. Dissolve: A transition where one image gradually blends into the next, often used to show a passage of time or a change in location.

Each of these transitions is used to create specific effects and convey different storytelling elements in video editing.
